I have been in Europe! And in emergency vet offices. And at work. And prepping for a family wedding. I’ve been busy!
So to preface: all animals appear to be making a recovery, so yippee!
My husband and I went on a trip to Europe with a friend of ours. We went to England and the Netherlands… and I have so much to say that I want to make an entire post about it separately. That’ll be coming soon! I will say… I did indeed complete my shawl in time for the trip, and got to wear it multiple days 🙂
We unfortunately came home to a very sick dog and a cat with a giant lump on her head. I will spare you the details… but we now know what an Addisonian crisis is, and our Australian Kelpie mix has officially been diagnosed with Addison’s disease. He’s more or less back to normal now, but it was a very scary few days. Dog tax, pic about 10 minutes after being home following a night in the ER ->
The kitty seems to be responding to antibiotics, so fingers crossed it was just an infection! Goldfish kitty tax:
Keeping this post short and sweet – as I mentioned, my immediate family has a wedding to celebrate tomorrow! Hope to be back real soon with some much needed updates on what I’m crocheting right now, new projects (may not exactly be crafting… but making videos is kind of a craft too, right?), and updates on my completed shawl and a yarn review.
